She is so cute. This isn't her first time but the first time I got it on video.

Easter Bunny

I took Adi to Brookwood mall to have her picture made with the Easter Bunny. We went at a good time b/c there was no line at all. She was so good and she smiled. She wanted the toy they were using to get her to smile. She didn't cry, but after her picture we turned her around to see the Easter Bunny and she almost started to cry. She is so precious.

So the first night in her room she did ok. I had to rock her to sleep b/c if I just left her there she screamed and the longer you ignored her the louder she screamed. I didn't get any sleep that night b/c I kept getting up to check on Adi and make sure she was still breathing. I worry about her when she is in there by herself. The next two nights I didn't put her in her own room b/c like I said I didn't get any sleep the first night. I did put her back in there Thursday night, but she didn't go to sleep until midnight and then she was up again at 3am so Scott got her and brought her into our room and she slept great once she was in there. So I think she does ok if you get her to sleep first it just I don't get any sleep when she is in her own room. I guess I just have to get used to it. Well ok thats all for now.

4 month ckup

Adi went to the doctor on Thursday March 6. She was 14lbs and 23 3/4 inches. The doctor said I can put her on cereal now, so she eats it at night and in the mornings. He also said I needed to put her in her own room now or she will sleep with me forever. I don't have a problem with that but Scott said if that happened he would have to sleep in her room on her bed. Anyways tonight is the first night we are trying it and I am a little sad and it just broke my heart sitting there listening to her cry and cry so I had to rock her to sleep. I love her so much and I thank God everynight for giving me the best gift in the whole world. Ok well now I'm going to sleep.

1st night

Yesterday Adi turned 4 months. I can't believe she is that old already. So she has been sleeping in the room with Scott and I, but the other day the doctor said she needed to sleep in her own room. Well tonight is the first night that I have tried. Right now it is 10:47 and she is asleep in her room. I am a little sad. Anyway I tried to have her in bed by 8:30 at the latest so she got a bath around 7:30 and then I started feeding her a bottle at 8. She was asleep but still eating at 8:15. By the time I got around to laying her down it was almost 9. Well that didn't go so great she woke up and started crying. I did what the doctor told me to do for about 30 mins and nothing would calm her down. So I gave in and I picked her up and rocked her to sleep. So she was in bed by 10 she woke up once and I put her paci back in her mouth and she went back to sleep and so far is still asleep. I'm kind of scared to let her sleep in her own room b/c I am just a paranoid first time mother but I guess it will be a good thing once she gets on a schedule and starts sleeping good on her own, but I will miss her sleeping next to me where I can just look over and see her. I love that little girl with all of me. Ok well I just thought I would share that.

Well the other day on March 3 she rolled over from her stomach to her back, but she would only do it that once. I didn't caught it on camera or anything. Well I keep putting her on her belly so I can try and caught her rolling over on tape but everytime I lay her down she starts crying. The doctor said it was ok she would roll over when she is ready so I guess I won't push her to do it.

This past weekend we went to Collierville, Tn (outside of Memphis) to help move/visit my mom. We left around 8:30 on Fri and got back home at 8:30 on Sunday. The dogs went with us also. It was Adi's first long trip and it was her first big snow. It snowed really big friday and saturday. I have pics but I will have to load them later. We didn't get to do much b/c of the snow but we did have fun and Adi and the dogs traveled well.

Well I guess I am going to bed to get some sleep while I have the chance. More later I hope I am just horrible at writing stuff.
